Don’t Expect Results Without These 4 Things

Expectations are merely beliefs that will get proven right, wrong, or neither. 💁🏻‍♀️

Hear me out ...

Your beliefs aren’t based in anything, except your mind’s film footage of your past. Unless you've been reprogramming them, of course.

Expectations are simply a coping mechanism to explore the illusion of what you “know” (or think you know) so things feel safe and predictable.

Your subconscious mind is brilliantly designed to keep you safe. This means it likes to avoid risk, discomfort, and failure at ALL COSTS. If you'll let it, it'll stay on high alert.

But, when you focus on the here and now, when you approach life with curiosity, your whole world opens up.

That's why stuff seems to happen when you “least expect it."  When you're open and receptive. NO strings attached.

🌟 You say f*^k my fear, I'm going for it. And now you're in the big leagues of the unknown where real manifestation happens.

Think about it.

Almost all geniuses and great minds have been contrarian thinkers, moving beyond the familiar.

You think Isaac Newton, Toni Morrison, Lady Gaga or Einstein, Germaine Greer, Marie Curie, or Steve Jobs let their fear and doubts keep them down?

I rest my case. 💁🏻‍♀️

So to manage YOUR mind’s expectations about what's possible for you ...

I’m spilling the tea on what you can “expect” when it comes to personal transformation, so you can let that shit go and make some real progress. 💪

Don't "expect" results without these 4 things:

Baby steps. Big leaps. Setbacks. Success.

⒈ Baby steps🪜

These are common everyday actions you make excuses for: meditating, working out, making the appointment, creating your dating profile, updating your resume, taking the class . . . you get the drift.

These are the very things that build awareness, flexibility, and resilience.

Think of this as a high-yield savings account with big compounding interest. You can wait until 2024, but wouldn't 2024 be better if you started now?

⒉ Big leaps 🕊️

They don’t say leap and the net will appear for nothing. You'll literally never know if you never stop because your mind’s fear/doubt/insecurity got in the way.

Carrie, Stephen King's first published novel, was rejected 30 times before being published. What if he didn't send the manuscript to the 31st person?

What if he decided: I’m a terrible writer because 30 people didn’t like my story. . .  I quit. BTW–he makes 40 mil a year doing what he loves.

All this is to say you have to do the damn thing. It’s uncomfortable. So what? Isn’t it worse to feel stuck and trapped?

⒊ Setbacks 🚏

You're human. I’m human. Things happen outside our control.

➡ How you choose to deal with them is up to youSetbacks can be powerful catalysts for improving yourself and your life. Or you can stay with the victim narrative.

You get to decide.

⒋ Success 🏆

Success is an inevitable part of transformation– if you go for it and don't give up! Through focus, consistency, action, awareness, and flexibility you can and will get the results you desire. It really all comes down to creating a life that aligns with your values and brings you fulfillment and joy.

How do you let go of expectations or projections and create what you want instead?
